Ltd., acting as Authority's Engineer, under and in accordance with the Agreement dated 25.02.2014 (the “Agreement’), for “construction of Vadodara - Surat section (Km 192,000 to Km 198.000) of National Highway No. 8 (the “Project Highway”) on Engineering, Procurement and ‘Construction (EPC) baiss through M/s Larsen & Toubro Limited having its registered office at L&T House, N.M.Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai 400 001, hereby certify that, the Tests in accordance with Article 12 of the Agreement have been undertaken to determine compliance of the Project Highway with the provisions of the Agreement and are found to be in order. Works that are incomplete on account of Time Extension have been specified in the Punch List appended hereto, and the Contractor has agreed and accepted that it shall complete all such works in the time and manner set forth in the Agreement. In addition, certain minor works are incomplete and these are not likely to cause material inconvenience to the Users of the Project Highway or affect their safety. The Contractor has agreed and accepted that as a condition of this Provisional Certificate it shall complete such minor works within 30 (thirty) days hereof. These minor works have also been specified in the aforesaid Punch List. In view of the foregoing, we are satisfied that the Project Highway from Km 192,000 to Km, 198.000 can be safely and reliably placed in service of the Users thereof, and in terms of the ‘Agreement, the Project Highway is hereby provisionally declared fit for entry into operation wef 27" day of October, 2017.
