WHAT DO YOU SEE?
WHAT NOW?
WHAT NOW?

THE SPINNING DANCER- WHICH WAY IS IT?
FIND THE MAN – TIME YOURSELF
SOME STATISTICS
• According to a medical research:
1. If you find the man in less than 3 seconds, your
brain is developed above the normal brain
2. If you find it in a minute, you have a normal
developed brain
3. If you find it in between 1 and 3 minutes, your
brain is responding slowly
4. If it takes more than 3 minutes, your brain is
responding too slow and perhaps more exercise

DURING SUDAN FAMINE
•That picture depicts
a child crawling
towards a UN food
camp located a
kilometer away
•The vulture is
waiting for the child
to die so that it can
KEVIN CARTER eat it
39
IT DOESN’T END HERE…

• No one knows what happened to

the child, including the
photographer Kevin Carter who
left the place as soon as the
photograph was taken
• Three months later Kevin Carter
committed a suicide due to
depression
IT DOESN’T END HERE ALSO…
KEVIN’S DIARY-1
• Dear God,
I promise I will never waste my food no
matter how bad it can taste and how full
I may be. I pray that He will protect this
little boy, guide and deliver him away
from his misery. I pray that we will be
more sensitive towards the world
around us and not be blinded by our
own selfish nature and interests.
IT DOESN’T END HERE ALSO…
KEVIN’S DIARY-2
I hope this picture will always serve as a
reminder to us that how fortunate we are
and that we must never ever take things
for granted.
Let's make a prayer and think & look at this
when you complain about your food and
the food we wasted daily.
MAKE YOUR PROMISE TODAY
"I WILL NEVER WASTE MY FOOD"
Critical Thinking
•Sitting on top of your shoulders
is one of the finest computers
on the earth.
•But, like any other muscle in
your body, it needs to be
exercised to work at its best.
•That exercise is called
I think, therefore I am.
THINKING. - Rene Descartes
16
What is critical thinking?
 Commonly called “problem solving” or “Critical
Reasoning”
 Looking for what is implied in a question rather than
what is stated.
 Not being content with the first solution to a problem,
but thinking more deeply about it for a better solution.
 Knowing, understanding, analyzing, synthesizing,
applying and evaluating the idea or problem.
 Not letting reason to be clouded by emotion.
 Applying the rules of logic to problem solving.
