2. Differentiate between equalities & inequalities.
3. Find the solution of an equation & inequality involving one variable from a given
replacement set by guess & check.

II. Subject Matter:

Topic: Solving linear equalities & inequalities in one variable using guess & check.

III. Procedure:
Note: Open the following files: Activity_1-ICT.docx, Activity_4-ICT.xlx,ICT-Motivation.ppt &
ICT_Math.ppt.

1. Click the Linear equalities & inequalities.
C. Lesson Proper:
1. Discuss the Evaluating mathematical expression & distribute the Activity 1
Sheet(Activity_1-ICT), click & check the results. Click “ ” to go back in
Home Page.
2. Click the Activity 2 & continue clicking. Click “ “ at the end of the said
activity.
3. Click the Activity 3 & asks questions (refer to teaching guide page 2-3). Click
“ “ at the end of the said activity.
4. Click Lecture. Click “ “ after the lecture.
5. Click Activity 4, distribute the sheets(Activity_4-ICT.xlx) & Asks questions
(refer to teaching guide page 4). Click the “Answer” for the answers & continue
clicking. Click after revealing the answers.
6. Click Activity 5 & continue clicking while discussing refer to TG page 4-5.
Click “Answer” to reveal the answer. Click the below the slide.

IV. Evaluation:
Ask the students to solve & click the Activity 6. Click the “Answer” for the answers of
the Activity 6.
