Sun Lakes Community Theatre Scholarship Application

Sun Lakes Community Theatre will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a

graduating senior that is planning on majoring in performance theatre in college.

Each of the Chandler five year high schools may submit candidates for the
scholarship. One person will be chosen from the applicants. The following
criteria will be considered in determining the winner of the scholarship:
professionalism of the application, drama experience and awards, grades, your
future goals for theatre, two contrasting monologues and a sample performance.
The performance part of the application is your chance to showcase your skills.
020It should be somewhere between 2 ½ to 3 ½ minutes. It can be song or a
scene that you are the predominant character in the scene. It can be an actual
excerpt from a performance or something you restage.

To apply:

Fill out application form.

Include a Flash drive that includes two contrasting monologues and your
performance.

Due Date: Postmarked by March 30. Please mail completed application

this scholarship.
