On Monday, I continued to develop my online portfolio on Weebly. I have surprisingly

really enjoyed creating it even though that is not in my skill set. I submitted my resume after

receiving feedback from the Career Center. They only suggested that I make a few adjustments. I

also continued to develop the video presentation that is due at the end of this week. Additionally,

I got comfortable using Interview Stream and prepared for my mock interview questions since

the recordings are due on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning, I practiced some interview questions on Interview Stream. After I

felt more prepared, I dressed professionally and recorded my interview questions. I was very

excited to complete this assignment because that means I am one step closer to completing my

internship experience. I also made a lot of progress on my powerpoint presentation. Finally, I had

a phone call with my supervisor, Franchetta. I asked for permission to use a picture of her and

members of her team on my online portfolio and in my presentation. She said that I was welcome

to use that and any other information or resources that she provided us. She said that she has

been very busy with the surge in COVID-19 cases but she was able to complete our final

evaluations. Despite her busy schedule, I was very thankful that she called me to provide

feedback on my research paper and congratulate me on my hard work and dedication to this

project. In an email, she told Morgan Scott and I that we were “great examples for future

students who will serve as Coliseum Medical Centers Patient Relations interns during this

pandemic.”

On Wednesday, I wrote the narrative for my internship project presentation. I continued

to improve my powerpoint presentation and my online portfolio on Weebly. Additionally, I

studied for the U.S and Georgia History Test to fulfill the legislative requirement to graduate. On

Thursday, I finished my powerpoint presentation slides and started to prepare for recording the
3

video. There is a lot of information that I would like to present that does not fit on the slides so I

wrote notes. I rehearsed and practiced presenting so that I felt more prepared and confident for

when I recorded the video. On Friday, I finally recorded and submitted my presentation. I added

the final touches to my online portfolio to submit it on Monday.
