C. POST READING
1. Engagement Activity I( Small groups)
Divide the class into 4 groups. Assign each group to do one of these tasks.
a. Sequence events in the story.
b. Draw and list down the things the tree gave in the story.
c. Pretend that you are the little boy in the story. Write a “Thank You note to the tree.
d. How important is the tree to you?
Tell an appropriate emoji to the sentence that tells how it feels by raising the face cut-outs
provided on your table.
