Brazil doesn’t really have true military allies, but generally it is neutral as its
Constitution enshrined non-intervention in the document. They do support
international peacekeeping forces and is a candidate for a permanent position on the
UNSC. They also do not really have enemies, but Argentina is one of its rival as they
position to lead South American. Argentina doesn’t even support the candidacy of
Brazil for the UNSC as they believe it would hurt their status if they were elected as a
permanent member.
