RELATIVE CLAUSES
It is used to give extra information about the nouns in the main clause, without
starting another sentence. A relative clause starts with a relative pronoun.
The relative clauses give more information about something or someone.

4. READING

A friend in need

In a small village there lived an honest boy named Raj. One day, the king called him to his court. The
king was a cruel person. So, Raj was very afraid. He had never done anything wrong.
Raj had three friends. He thought that maybe one of them could help him. He went to his best
friend, Pramesh, and explained his problem. Pramesh listened carefully. He knew Raj had done
nothing wrong. But he was very busy. He could not go with him to see the king. Raj felt very
disappointed.
Next, he went to his next best friend, Rishi. Rishi also listened carefully. He was sure Raj was
honest. But, what if the king put him in jail, too? He would only take Raj to the gate. He wouldn´t
go inside the court. Again, Raj felt disappointed.
Raj went to see Mukunda, although they had never been close. Mukunda listened carefully to
Raj´s story. Then, he told Raj to relax.
He would go ahead and tell the king about Raj. Raj was very surprised. Raj had never paid
attention to him. But Mukunda was a true friend.

• Empiece presentándose y dando una breve introducción a su video.
• Busque ser claro en el contenido del video.
• Haga un cierre del video, puede ser despidiéndose o agradeciendo.
Tips para tener en cuenta después de la grabación:
• Revise que tenga un buen audio.
• No debe ser mayor de tres minutos.
• Envíelo a su docente junto con la guía de trabajo.
