Police looking for armed robbers who beat down man

Austin police are searching for two men who authorities say robbed another man at gun
point in North Austin last week.

Police said the incident, which was recorded by security cameras, occurred July 21 on the
9000 block of Galewood Drive. Authorities said the two men approached the victim and
demanded money.

Law enforcement officials said the two men hit the victim before running away. The
victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The two men, who police said were both about 5 feet 8 inches tall, had black semi-
automatic handguns. One wore dark clothing and gray Nike sneakers and the other dark
shorts, a white t-shirt and black-and-white sneakers, police said.
