RE: Armed Robbery

On March 24, 2022, at approximately 4:50 PM, Officers from the Wyoming Department of Public Safety
responded to 3375 South Division Avenue on a report of an armed robbery. This location houses several
separate businesses in a mall setting. The robbery occurred at a family-owned jewelry store inside the
mall.

The suspect entered the store, set a bag on the counter, and order an employee to put all the jewelry in
the bag. The suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect was alerted by another employee that
police had been called and were on the way. He left before obtaining any merchandise and fled the mall
on foot.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall. Witnesses’
descriptions of the suspect’s age varied from mid-20s to 40s. He was wearing a blue “Los Angeles”
baseball hat, a dark-colored coat over a blue hooded sweatshirt, a light blue surgical mask, and
sunglasses. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect and are included below.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the
suspect.
