1. Improve the packaging and design of one of the products that you have presented.

• I think the packaging and design of Banana wrapped in soft plastic needs an improvement. I'll
replace that plastic with a wooden box as it's packaging. I will add a living hinge in the side of
that box to make it easy to open and it will look like a clamshell. This wooden box can be used
for something else like a sewing trays. It will also help to reduce waste and the packaging will
be available for reuse. And using wood for the packaging would be a big help to sustain the
environment because wood is an eco friendly material. The advantage of this packaging is that
the Bananas will not be damaged immediately if they haven't eaten it yet.

2. Create a new idea for sustainable products. You can based your ideaa on the PPT or
use one or more of the ideas listed in the defining sustainability module by Simoneau.
• The disposable spoon is one of the most commonly used at parties, special events and even
in public stores. We all know that disposable spoon is made of plastic. Plastic waste is one of
many types of wastes that take too long to decompose. A wooden spoon is a kind of
sustainable products. Wood is the major material that is renewable and sustainable. We know
that the trees are gradually depleted so we have to replace them with new ones by replanting
again. By using woods as your resource in making your product was a big help to protect and
sustain the environment.
