Employment Resignation

Employees must give a two week written notice when voluntarily terminating their employment
with Grandma Birdies. Employees who voluntarily terminate their employment with Grandma
Birdies within the first year of employment will be required to reimburse the center for training
and development costs. The amount will be deducted from the employee’s final paycheck.

Rationale

This policy was created for the employee and employer. I have created this policy in the

event an employee would quit after receiving job required DCF training that the center has paid

for. This policy would require an employee to reimburse the center for the training if they

terminate their employment within the first year and reduce the cost of staff turnover.
