1. PURPOSE:
a) is appropriate to the purpose and context of the organization and supports its
strategic direction;
b) provides a framework for setting quality objectives;
c) includes a commitment to satisfy applicable requirements;
d) includes a commitment to continual improvement of the quality management
system.
2. SCOPE:
Communicating the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policy within
the Organization.
3. RESPONSIBILITY:
6.2 The Quality, Health , Safety & Environment policy -“attachments A&B”-
has to be written clearly and should reflect the company’s objectives well
with respect to its Quality, Health , Safety & Environment systems in both
Arabic and English languages. The Q.A. and the Health, Safety &
Environment Managers are responsible for preparing the Quality, Health,
Safety & Environment policy, the M.R for reviewing and the President for
approving it.
6.3 Upon issuing the Quality, Health , Safety & Environment policy (or making
any changes ); all employees have to be informed by the M.R. that they
should ensure that the Quality, Health , Safety & Environment policy is
declared, understood and implemented.
6.4 The Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policy is posted in an appropriate
working area in the company. It is also part of the Quality, Health, and
Safety & Environment manual.
6.5 Based on the findings of auditing by sampling; each Department Manager
submits a status report to inform the M.R. regarding the employee’s
understanding and awareness of the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
policy.
6.6 Each Department Manager is responsible for informing his new employees of
theQuality, Health, and Safety & Environment Policy of the company.
6.7 The Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policy is documented and
controlled according to procedure No. Q.H.S.E.P- 01, “Document Control
Procedure”.
6.8 The Quality, Health , Safety & Environment Policy procedure provides a
frame work for establishing and reviewing Quality, Health , Safety &
Environment objectives and targets.
6.9 The Quality, Health , Safety & Environment policy is reviewed during the
Management Review Meeting to ensure continuing suitability.
