Since the children will be involved in a lot of activities, documenting their work through photos is more
effective than just jotting down what they do. They will be moving around in class a lot and keeping track
of each child will be a hassle if teacher were to observe each and every move the child makes. In addition,
the class will be divided equally into 3 groups since there are 3 booths. This means that they will be doing
different activities at the same time and taking photographs of them would be very convenient.
Furthermore, the teacher can capture so many things in one picture. From the child’s reactions, to the
child’s interactions with his/her peers, it can all be documented in one photograph. Apart from keeping
track of the children’s progress during the ongoing activity, the teacher can use these documentations to
share with parents about what their children have been doing in school. Parents can have a visual and
tangible view of their child’s progress in school. In addition, the teacher can also display these photos in
the classroom so that the children can always remember the time when they did the particular activity. It
will also give them a sense of belonging in the classroom and would motivate them to do well in school.
Documenting their work through photographs is not only convenient for the teacher but also holds many
memories for the children to admire.
