Practicing New Skills Group 1: Eating Time (Teacher-supervised)

Procedure:
1. Ask the learners to give a specific time they eat breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
2. Show 3 pictures of a child eating. Say the time aloud in each picture.
3. Ask the learners to tell the time in the given pictures.
4. Let the learners write the time below the picture.

Group 2: Paper Plate Clock


Materials: paper plate, glue, cut out numbers, fastener, bond paper
Procedure:
1. Give each learner a paper plate. Ask them to choose digital time
from the flashcards.
2. Let them make a digital clock showing the time they choose.
3. Paste it in a bond paper.

Group 3: Community picture


Materials: paper, marker, illustrations or picture.
Procedure:
1. Give the learners blank pieces of paper.
2. Ask the learners to draw a clock showing the time a jeepney de-
parts from school in the afternoon.
3. Choose a few learners to share and talk about their work in class.
Afterwards, display the works of all children around the classroom.

Group 4: Playdough Clock


Materials: playdough, folder or carton
Procedure:
1. Instruct the learners to make a clock using play dough on a folder
or carton, following the given model.
2. After the learners formed their clock, let the play dough dry.
3. Display the learners’ creations in the classroom to be exhibited.

Group 5: Writing the time

Procedure:
1. Tell the learners to connect the time in analog clock to its correct digi-
tal time.
2. Let the learners practice writing the time on their tag board.

This will be done after all the groups will accomplish the tasks given to
them.
