1 Leak Test of a Hydraulic Jack was being carried out on Hydraulic Press that
is installed on one side of Walk Way of Machine Shop Floor. During this
job, in case of high-pressure oil leakage could splash / hurt to someone
passing thru the walkway.
The job was immediately stopped & instructed the job supervisor to cordon off
the Walkway on both sides to restrict movement of people on it. The job
supervisor acted upon accordingly and then started the job. The job supervisor
was also instructed to be careful in future too.
