Water is involved in every aspect of poultry metabolism. It plays
important roles in regulating body temperature, digesting food, and
eliminating body wastes .At normal temperatures, poultry consume at least twice as much water as feed
.when heat stress occurs, water consumption will double or quadruple. A safe and adequate supply of
water is therefore essential for efficient poultry production.

Salmonella Enteritidis and Campylobacter jejuni are 2 major food borne pathogens in the United States,
estimated to cause more than 3 million cases of human illness annually. Chickens are the natural hosts
of these bacteria, and their drinking water can be a source of S. Enteritidis and C. Jejuni, contributing to
the colonization of birds.

Vistas of R&D & production taken up by Aristo Chemicals has introduced, ARISTO Aqua care -
a natural, generally recognized as safe ingredient in plant based oil was evaluated for its efficacy to
inactivate S enteritis and C jejuni , in the drinking water of chicken . Its powerful formulation is engi-
neered to promote good flock performance by killing the major food poisoning pathogens such as
campylobacter, salmonella, E –Coli and other organisms of concern such as pseudomonas aueriginosa,
all of which are a threat to poultry enterprises.

Mode of action

ARISTO Aqua care - when comes in contact with micro – organisms , damage the cytoplasmic mem-
brane binds with the protein , preventing amino acid decarboxylase activity in bacteria’s , leading to
excessive leakage of metabolites and enzymes from the cell , and finally loss of viability and reduce
the bacterial cells .
