NSS CAMP Day 7 – September 4, 2019

On the concluding day of the camp, the volunteers conducted a blood donation camp in the New
Koba Higher Secondary School in collaboration with Shraddhadeep Laboratories where the
volunteers donated blood. GNLU Students other than the volunteers also helped in this noble
cause. The activities were organised by GNLU NSS along with Dr. Sugnesh Chudasama,
Assisstant Director of Physical Education and Sports, Ms. Apoorva Patel, Director, GNLU
Centre for Law and Society and was co-ordinated by Shivam Kaith and Sannidhi Buch, members
of the GNLU Centre for Law and Society and by Tanmay, Chahak, Kirpa Ram, Delphina, and
Pallavi, volunteers of the GNLU Centre for Law and Society with around 50 volunteers who
participated in conducting the events.

At the end, a closing ceremony was organized by GNLU NSS where Prof. (Dr.) S. Shantakumar,
Director, Gujarat National Law University, Dr. Jagdish Chandra, Registrar, Gujarat National
Law University, Dr. A. Nageshwara Rao, Assistant Professor of Social Work, Gujarat National
Law University, Dr. Saurabh Anand, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Gujarat National Law
University and Dr. Sugnesh Chudasama, Assisstant Director of Physical Education and Sports
graced the occasion with their presence and felicitated Shri Yogeshbhai Nayi, Sarpanch, Koba
Village, Shri Sachinbhai Patel, Talati, Koba Village, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Director of New
Koba Primary and Secondary School and Shri Mahendrabhai Gajjar, Shraddhadeep Laboratories.
The Chief Guests also gave inspiring speeches and praised the young volunteers for their efforts
as well as encouraged them to continue such work of social service for the benefit of those in
need.
