Terapanth Professional Forum Knowledge Bank Bangalore successfully organized ‘Shikhar ki

Aur’, A Career Counselling Event for aspiring students from Std 8 to undergraduates. Over
500+ participants attended the event. The event was organized on the 15 th of January 2023
in association with Surana College (autonomous) at their Jayanagar campus in Bangalore.

The event began at 9:00 am with a psychometric test to help students understand their
areas of interest. Mangalacharan was done by Ms Sudha Jain to mark the auspicious
beginning of the event. Our Guest MLA Shri Ravi Subramanya along with Guest-of-honor
Mrs Archana Surana inaugurated the event in the presence of TPF National Joint-Secretary
Shri Laxmipatji Malu, South Zone Secretary Shravan Siyal, TPF Bangalore president Shri
Hiteshji Giriya, TPF Bangalore Secretary Shri Piueshji Daga and Keynote Speaker Shri Manoz
ji Jain (IAS). The event was also graced by the presence of past TPF Presidents Shri Jitendra ji
Dugar, Shri Sanjay ji Dhariwal & past National Treasurer Shri Manakchandji Baldota.
Inauguration was followed by our Guest Shri Ravi Subramanya gave an engrossing speech in
kannada impressing on the students the importance of education and how to make career
choices.

Keynote was given by Shri Manoz Ji Jain, IAS from batch 2006 and currently serving as
secretary to govt of Karnataka. His speech inspired students to invest in their careers and
treat it as a marathon and not as a sprint. This was followed by a panel discussion hosted by
Shri Laxmipatji Malu with an esteemed panel including Sheetal Lalwani, co-founder Juspay,
Dr Shyam Vasudev Rao-MD, Forus Health Pvt Ltd, CA Sanjay ji Dhariwal, Partner at Dhariwal
& Sreenivas, Dr Amit Jain-Diabetic Foot Surgeon, Akta ji Jain, IRS(Income Tax) & Maj Gen VPS
Bhakuni. The Panel discussion covered various aspects on ‘Building a long lasting career’ and
was a highly interactive session with Q&A from students

Post Lunch, we had a highly energizing Goal Setting session by Hitesh ji Giriya & Neha ji
Choudhary from Professio Academy. Surana College Principal Dr DNS Kumar gave the
students a broad overview of options available to them. Dr Pankaj ji Jain then gave an
overview of the new NEP, National Education Policy enriching the students’ knowledge
about the same. Breakout sessions were then held across 6 streams including Commerce,
Science, Law, Arts, Civil Services & Medical where there were education professionals from
all streams guiding interested students and helping them clear their doubts regarding career
choices.

We then had India’s youngest band delivering an energetic performance for the audience.
The conclusion ceremony included a session by Mr Karan who spoke about the overseas
options available to students. The full day event came to a fruitful conclusion with Vote of
Thanks delivered by Diksha ji Jain. All participants were provided with guidance and inputs
helping them in making their respective career choices. The event was hosted by Ms. Bharti
Ji Chajjed Talesara and Piuesh Ji Daga.
