Minutes of Meeting

The meeting of Dr. D. Y. P SEVA Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing,
Bhosari was held on 07/11/2012 in the Principal’s Office.

The following members was present

Mr. Virendrakumar Ghire (President Dr. D. Y. P SEVA Alumni Association) was not
present for the meeting. He conveyed his unavailability on phone.

5. Planning for next Alumni Activities.

The meeting was started with welcoming all the members by Chairman Mrs. Khurshid Jamadar
at 12.45 pm.

1) Annual Subscription of the students.

It was discussed that the alumni enrollment fees for the MSc. Nursing Rs. 1000/, For BSc.
Nursing, PBBSc. Nursing & RGNM students Rs. 500/

2) Account information, Balance

Account was opened in Maharashtra Bank, Dr. D. Y. Patil Engineering College, Pimpri
Branch. The amount available in the bank account is Rs. 1,33, 925/ - For operating we need
to fill up the KYC Form in the bank within a week.

3) International workshop on : “Current Issues & Trends in Nursing Education &

Publication”
It was discussed that Alumni Association will contribute some fund for International
workshop on : “Current Issues & Trends in Nursing Education & Publication” which is
going to organized by Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing in the month of January 2013.

4) Reform of Alumni Association Executive Body

It was discussed that as per the Charity Commissioner by laws every five years Alumni
Association Executive body needs to be reform. It was suggested to get the nomination for
the post of President, Advisor, Secretary, & Treasurer to the Chairman & following
members were elected for the next tenure from November 2012- November 2017.

5) Planning for next Alumni Activities.

Organizing Guest Lecture from Connecting NGO Help Save a Life, Programme for
preventing suicides & promoting emotional well-being for nursing students on 06th & 7th
November 2012.

6) Website Alumni Enrollments List

It was discussed in the meeting that the Alumni Association Enrollment list with
members e-mail id, Enrollment form all this details are available on the website
nursing.dpu.edu.in

7) Any other

Dr. D. L. Ingole sir has suggested that to start a scholarship for the economically
poor students. Mrs. Sadhana Adhyapak is responsible to prepare criteria for the
scholarship. Sir also suggested that we can take a undertaken form the benefited
students that they will refund the amount after they started working within a specific
years.

Mrs. Martha Raut has suggested that the Alumni members should be organize a get
together. It was discussed that during Annual Day, workshop & seminar we invite
the entire member through their e-mail.
After discussion of all above points the meeting was ended with vote of thanks by Ms. Seema
Chavan at 1.30 PM.
