Steel wire armoured cable BS5467
Features:
• Suitable for mains supply electricity and can be used externally or
buried.
• Cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated booklet armoured
cables benefit from superior thermal and mechanical properties.
• Conforms to: BS6360-conductors, BS6746 Type 9 - Sheath and
BS1442 - Armour.
Core colour codes: 2 core - Red and Black.
3 core - Red, Yellow and Blue.
4 core - Red, Yellow, Blue and Black.
5 core - White with Black numbers.
Red, Yellow, Blue denote phase conductors. Black core denotes
neutral.

Specifications:
Conductors : Stranded annealed Copper.
Insulation : XLPE (cross linked polyethylene)/PVC.
Bedding : Extruded PVC .
Armour : Galvanised Steel wire armour.
Sheath : PVC.
Voltage : 600/1000V.
Operating temperature : -40°C to +90°C.

Features:
Low smoke and fume cables designed specifically to reduce the emission of dense smoke and toxic fumes when alight.
Relevant standards:
Smoke and corrosive gas emission in accordance with BS6724.
HCL not greater than 5% when tested to BS6425.
Reduced flame propagation requirements of BS4066 part 1 (single vertical wire) and part 3 (bunched cables) IEC 322:3
categories A, B and C.
Core colour codes: 2 core - Red and Black.

Specifications:
Conductors : Plain annealed copper.
Insulation : Cross linked polyethylene (XLPE).
Bedding : Thermosetting low smoke and fume compound (LSF).
Armour : Galvanised steel wire armour.
Sheath : Thermosetting low smoke and fume compound (LSF).
