1. Vajiram is strong in classes, optional subject classes, course material so it has high
market share, in these high growth portfolios.
2. But it doesn’t have good base in any Test series. Test series is high growth area with
vision IAS institute having more than 50% share. Growth is high in current affairs
because though students subscribe to old famous current affair modules of institutes
existing since decades or internet is flooded with exclusive current affairs modules,
there is high level of uncertainty in final exam paper. so students buy different
materials in market. But vajiram’s Current affairs material isn’t upto mark thus has
low market share.
3. Around 3000 students are selected across India for interview round. Though 3000
students isn’t great number, Vajiram is the most chosen firm for interview guidance.
Therefore in Cow in matrix.
4. Prelims offline test series is not a growing portfolio and Vajiram is not popular in
these. Students buy prelims papers Xerox and do home practice than paying around
6000 for test.
