Job Posting: SAM Casual Staff Representative

The casual staff representative is responsible for advocating for the interests and sharing the
concerns of casual workers in SAM. The representative holds one meeting for casual staff
members prior to each quarterly school board meeting in order to collect thoughts to share
at the meeting, and attends the quarterly meetings with voting rights. Additional possible
venues for advocacy include appointments with the Head of School and meetings of the
Learning and Teaching Committee, of which the representative is a standing member.

This position will be paid at a rate of $34.21/hour, with three hours allocated for each
quarterly meeting.

All current and former SAM casual staff members are encouraged to apply. You do not
