Issuance of Maritime Circulars

Purpose
To issue Maritime Circulars.

Application
1. Maritime Circulars will be issued by the Technical Manager in the format of this
Circular and will have the effect and applicability of rules and regulations.

2. Shipowners, operators, agents and masters of merchant vessels should have

knowledge of the Maritime Circulars and also adequately inform any person who may
concern. Furthermore they are responsible to ensure that Maritime Circulars are
updated and kept on board the vessels at all times.

3. Any updates, modifications, or new Maritime Circulars will be updated and published
on the SLMARAD website.

4. The above will enter into effect as of 07th of April 2015.
