THEORY

 Two powers with the same base can be multiplied by adding the exponents: b 4 × b6 =b10

 Two powers with the same base can be divided by subtracting the exponents: b 3 ÷ b2=b1

o If the question is written in fraction format, use this rule, but put your answer in the

 An exponent of an power is multiplied in: (3 x ¿¿ 4)2=9 x 8 ¿

o Remember here that the exponent applies to everything in the brackets.
