RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF NATIONAL OFFICER CASH TRANSFER (4017)

With interest I write to apply for the post of a National Officer Cash Transfer, As an assistant project
manager in my current organization who has taken part in the planning, set-up, implementation
monitoring and reporting of the WFP funded food security, nutrition & livelihoods project in Borno State
reaching 30,000 beneficiaries across different components of the project; Agronomy; IGAs and micro
enterprise development; VSLAs; Livestock production; General Food Distribution (GFDs), Cash Based
Transfers (CBTs) and; communal infrastructural activities, I ensure the effective implementation of food
security, nutrition and livelihoods project through the technical, efficient and timely execution of tasks
in accordance with the policies, values and procedures, the strategies of the project and the schedule of
activities, to Initiate, sustain and guide cooperation with key stakeholders, in close collaboration with
relevant technical specialists to ensure the performance and results of the project and ensuring that
gender and social dialogue are mainstreamed in planning and project implementation to achieve the
desired results, ensuring that project activities aligned with international principles and standards on
social protection, most notable the principles of universality and non-discrimination, of social dialogue,
the principle of good governance and the principle of solidarity in financing to allow a flow of regular
and complete information on the status of the activities planned and implemented between the Project
team and stakeholders

I am a graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic with Major in Real Estate Management and Valuation has
exposed me to Project Management, Facility management, Property development and Management. I
possess excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, Hausa, Akurmi and other few local
languages in the Northern part of the country, good knowledge and competence of project formulation,
administration, evaluation with ability to perform a variety of conceptual analysis, proven ability to
manage teams including personnel management and remote capacity project management (project
planning and management of financial and monitoring procedures) to the achievement of objectives
and results. Ability to establish and maintain relationships and negotiate with government officials,
stakeholders of civil society, proven ability to draft well project documents and other relevant reports.

With 3 years of experience in cash Based Transfer as a modality of food assistance in a WFP funded
project, 2 years in Programme implementation, 1 year in Gender and Protection, 4 years in monitoring
and evaluation and 2 in Community Mobilization, I manage the organization of workshops, trainings and
meeting with stakeholders with the technical support the program staffs. I also disseminate project
information between the organization, donor and stakeholders during meetings related to the project
and my experience in the technical field of cash transfer systems, experience in design and management
of social assistance Programmes and other technical experience as contain in my profile has accord me
the round about skills to be given the opportunity of being part of the project.
In addition, my trainings cuts across project management, monitoring and evaluation, protection,
gender equity and diversity, management strategies of people and resources, understanding the rights
of women and girls, fundamental of grant writing, addressing poverty and social injustices, lets break the
chain of COVID-19 Infection, Lets Gear Up and Volunteer to Defy COVID-19 all from CARE International,
Young African Leadership Initiative and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health
Sciences and with excellent analytical skills and ability to justify requirements and approaches to
problem resolution, time management and good organizational skills, including the ability to work under
pressure to meet deadlines.
