1. What should be the format and final form of the store manager’s job description?
Answer:

The format and final form of the store manager’s job description is discussing below-
Job description is vital for any job as usual in store manager's job. Store managers have to take
responsibilities like quality work production, customer relations, sales maximizing and
profitability is maintained through effective control of labor supply and energy costs.

So, the format and final form of the store manager's job description should be:

- Job identification
- Job specification
- Job summery
- Job responsibilities and duties
- Standards of performance
- Quality Control
- Customer relations
- Cost control and productivity
- Pricing
- Inventory Control
- Employee safety
- Human resource administration
2. Is it practical to specify standards and procedures in the body of the job description, or
Should these be kept separate?

Answer:

Procedures are a formal method of doing something based on a series of actions conducted in a
certain order or manner. These are the responsibility of the asset custodian to build and maintain
in support of standards and policies.

To specify standards and procedures in the body of the job description depends upon the type of
job under discussion as to what sort of standards to include.

In Carter Cleaning Company, it should be included. That will help the managers and supervisors
to remember and focus on standards more frequently as it is a part of job description. But it
should be considered that which standards and procedures are to be mentioned in job description.
There are some like to be mandatory standards and procedures and some of are less important.
So, Carter Cleaning Company should emphasize whether those are mandatory or not. If so! It
should be specified in the body of job description; else those should be kept in separate.
Therefore, we can say that not all the standards and procedures are important to mention in the
body of job description except the ones that are relevant and important for the applicants to
know. If they mention all the standards and procedures in the body part, it could be complex or
involved than it becomes more pragmatic to maintain separate procedures manually.
3.How should Jennifer go about collecting the information required for the standards,
procedures, and job description?

Answer:

The methods Jennifer should follow in collecting information for the standards, procedures and
job analysis are:

- Interviews

- Questionnaire/survey

- Observing the whole scenario

- Looking into work notes kept by employee

- Different websites

These methods need to be followed through by certain states. Which start with job analysis. it is
basically information about the duties, responsibilities, outcome and environment around. When
all the information is collected Jennifer must look into the needs and wants of employees, job
context and other areas as well. For task management Jennifer should assign assets appropriately
and accordingly. She also needs to follow the rules as well whatever she does must be within
each or loss and limits.
