(Big Data)

Data, information, knowledge, algorithms and programming languages are part of big data
and everything that is related to the processing and analysis of information, it could be said
that knowledge and finally wisdom are generated, such as The concepts are reflected in
images 1 and 2.

Many times this definition is taken into account to be able to give a margin of context in
terms of data and information processing, in many private or public companies and
organizations they require algorithms to be able to understand patterns in data and
information, in some way or other algorithms are present in this topic they are the ones that
put an order and a sequence.
Currently in the world regardless of where it is as long as you have connectivity, you
already belong to a large data network, what you consume, the movies you watch, the
networks in which you are registered, the purchases you make or even a Comment on a
blog, you give a reference and little information about who you are and the interests you
have, because each person becomes a great node in this infinite network of data and
information, but what can happen if it is processed, Well that's where data science and
marketing come in that can give us tools and solutions for potential customers.
A good example of how this great network works can be YouTube, an interesting video
page that belongs to Google and gives us infinite search options, for each video search we
do and for each video click and duration as a viewer is a data that is processed into
information and that becomes knowledge since it gives a pattern and becomes wisdom by
obtaining options for possible suggestion of tastes in videos or content advertising.
If we move to a more local context such as Colombia, then to Norte de Santander and
finally specifically in the city of Cúcuta, we observe nodes and nodes of data and
information for each person and industry that is located in this sector, the role of each
engineer and data analyst is to be able to process it and give an available wisdom to the
environment in which it surrounds us.
Cúcuta is a city with good potential that is developing, the competition is diversified, the
companies that are located in the area depend on trade and the border with the country of
Venezuela, the infinity of technological solutions that are developed for each need of their
Inhabitants, will always be present online, be it a sales page of a shoe company and even
subscriptions that Google or one of the data giants gives you.
The expectations to be achieved within the city are one step behind the reality of the current
world, but it is constantly advancing that little by little for that small victory towards
virtuality.
