Sport Report: Cross-Training 

Directions: In this section you learned about cross-training. View the cross-training
instructional lesson that outlines various conditioning drills, plyometrics, and jump
rope exercises. Practice at least 4 of the exercises on your own. Then report on
your experience by answering the questions below.
Note: You can include your condition drills time on your fitness log.

1. Have you had experience with plyometrics, conditioning drills, or jump rope
exercises before? If so, describe your experience. (1 pts)

I have, but it's been a while beacause we did a lot for figure skating but I don't do it
anymore.
2. What amount of time did you spend on the activity? (1 pt)

20 minutes
3. Which exercises did you perform? (3 pts)

standing jumps, front back jump, jogging jump rope,


4. Describe your experience. (4 pts)

I didn’t like it very much, They weren’t difficult but it was kind of boring.
5. Was it difficult to do? Explain. (1 pts)

kind of, I didn’t really have any equipment and it’s been a while since I’ve done any
of this stuff
6. Would you try it again? Why or why not? (2 pts)

Probably not unless I join a sport again


7. What suggestions would you have for someone else who is considering
trying this activity? (3 pts)

To make sure they have proper equipment and know what they are doing. It might
help too have someone teach you.
8. How did you feel about this cross-training experience overall? Explain. (2

It wasn’t that good, but It’s good for you
