Issue Description:
FC 1312 is a customer-defined fault, and is activated via customer input 2 and is
configurable. It can be configured to a shutdown or warning. FC 1312 is being
activated after 1 hour of dynamic testing.

Customer Description:
The coolant level murphy gauges for the LTA & JW are wired into customer
input 2, this input is becoming active after 1 hour of dynamic testing. The
LTA murphy gauge indication shows the contact closed indicating low
coolant level, the actual coolant level was investigated & the standard
coolant level sight glass indicated correct coolant level. However when the
radiator filler cap was removed foam and froth was observed

Step 2 – Possible Causes
▪ Possible Causes
– Incorrect Routing of the lower pipe to the Murphy Gauge
– Loose connections vent lines between engine thermostat
and radiator connections
– General routing of the coolant pipes

The plumbing on the lines to and from


the Murphy gauges has been reviewed
by the service department & Bearwood
engineering the plumbing observed in
the photos supplied from site may be
contributing to aerating the coolant.

validation the Murphy gauge position, plumbing &
routing of pipes in this radiator installation
