    DISADVANTAGES OF E-HAILING SERVICE

    1) The fear that technological improvements would threaten the livelihoods of people.
    - In the case of Uber, taxi drivers are identifiable offenders.
    - Uber caused the loss of jobs for taxi drivers (Gerdes & Thornton, 2015).
    - Traditional taxi business is a major economic sector in its own right, creating jobs
    for millions of people around the world and producing huge profits, all challenged
    by Uber.
    - Uber drivers are also increasingly concerned about their employment rights,
    because they do not currently have the coverage that traditional jobs enjoy (Gerdes
    & Thornton, 2015).

    2) Inconvenience for some passengers and drivers


    - Subject to satellite navigation / GPS error, particularly in urban settings
    - Many people may see the sharing of information as a problem
    - It may be a problem to park or wait in public places
    - Cultural or social norms are a concern to both drivers and passengers.
