LEARNING CENTRE : KUANTAN LEARNING CENTRE
Throughout the learning process of entrepreneurship, I have learned that it is necessary to
acquire the knowledge of this course if one is willing to start a business. Before starting a
business, it is important to evaluate the venture environment, establish business plan, and
aware of the different types of business and its advantages and disadvantages. During the
process of business running, it is important to establish strategic networking, evaluate
entrepreneurial opportunities and financial planning. I have seen so many business
failures, and now I know that many business failures could be avoided by applying the
knowledge and method acquired from this course.

Before this, I did not know what causes my business failure, and will always blame that I
am having “bad luck”. Last year, one of my café has been closed down due to the
consistency of low revenue and losses profit. “The whole idea is good, we’ve just had
bad luck”, said to my business partners by me when we decided to close down the café.
But after the learning process of this course, I could relate the factors listed in topic 8.3,
which are managerial problems, product and market problems, and financial difficulties,
to the failure of this café, and will be able to consciously avoiding these factors in the
future.

My suggestion to improve the learning quality of this course is to increase the amount of
real-world example in each topic of the course. For example, if real-life example of a
business plan is demonstrated in topic 5, learners will be able to create a business plan for
their business with ease, as students could use the example demonstrated in the course as
the benchmark of their business plan.
