STRATEGY

LEVEL STRATEGY:

The corporate level strategy of apple is mainly Innovation of the various


products through the internal process, corporate classical innovation, and
merchandise Innovation. It also gives improvement to their existing products.
CHASE STRATEGY:

Apple’s strategy is to continuously expand their product base, but by using


very similar inputs every time. Hiring and laying off employees, depending on the
demand. Accurate scheduling of labor-hours to assure quick response to customer
demand. Use an on-cover labor resource to cover unexpected demand. Increase
flexibility on individual worker’s skills. Increase flexibility in rate of output or
hours of work.
HYBRID STRATEGY:

Competition is not based on price but quality. In order for such a strategy to
work out, the distinguishing features should be difficult to copy by the competitors.
This calls for the ability to Innovate. An excellent example of use this strategy is
Apple. Their products are exclusive and pretty expensive. Apple’s strategy of
board differentiation adds competitive advantage by making the business stand out.
Differentiation in product function and design supports the firm’s goal of leading
the market through technological innovation. Innovation is at the heart of Apple
Inc.’s business.
