Conclusion from findings:
I can conclude that our parents have higher wages than Dewey teachers. They
have a difference of 1,250,000 frs.

Reasons for wage differentials:


1) Skills acquired:
Your wage depends on the skills you acquired in school.
2) Different abilities and qualifications:
Some occupations are more professional than others. Professional workers
receive more wages than those working in less professional occupations
3) Risk involved:
Occupations involving more risks have higher wage rate than an occupation
involving less risks.
4) Trade unions activities:
A better coordinated trade union with a strong bargaining power will be able to
give better wage rates to her workers.
5) Importance of the occupation to the society:
Some occupations are more important to the society therefore its workers earn
higher wage rates.
6) Government policies:
The government can institute minimum wage rate some occupations to
encourage more people to go into that particular line of occupation
