“God Alone is Enough”
There are lots of definition when it comes to love. All of us knows the real meaning of it, as
well as experienced to be loved. In our generation, the true meaning of love is being less
significant. Youths chose not to value the greatness of love. It is easy for us to not appreciate all
the hard works and care that our parents are giving us. It is easy for us to forget all the sacrifices
that God have done for us. Another issue that is spreading right now in the society is depression.
For those people who are experiencing this, they felt like no one is there for them. That they are
lonely and alone in this world. It is easy for us to over think in every situations that lead us to
depression. It is also very easy for us to question the love that a person is giving us. We don't
settle for less when it comes to love. We are all afraid to take the risk and let go of whatever is in
our heart. We worry too much of the love that we would get from other people. Worrying too
much to the point that you think of asking the lord why and what.
All of us of course wants to have someone that will love us wholeheartedly. A person that
can give up everything and do anything for us. Sometimes I think if why someone can’t see me
as a good lady that they can pursue. Is there something wrong with my attitude or in my physical
appearance or even both? It also comes to the point of asking why it can’t just be me. In writing
this journal I've realized that why would I need that "someone" if I am happy with what I have
right now. That I have my family that never fails to make me feel how good it is to be loved. I
also have my friends that show me what love is in their own simplest ways. I've realized that for
us to be happy the only way is for us to be contented always in everything that we have. To be
happy for all the blessings that we always received. Having this kind of realization can help me a
lot because this made my heart the happiest. This kind of mindset will lead me to a better
relationship with my family, friends and most specially God.
The most important thing that we should do is to be contented in everything that we have
in this moment. We never know if what God’s plan is for us. We are in this world because we
have purpose, may be now we still don't know what it is but we'll surely know it sooner. All we
need to do is to wait for God's perfect timing. Our story is being written by God, for he have
better plans for us. The best is yet to come. With God you'll never be alone. . When it feels like
everything is falling apart, remember that God is with you. He is there in every battle that you
are fighting. He is with you in every milestone or downfall that you'll have. Never ever forget
that He loves you. If you break into a million pieces, pray to Him and he'll surely make you new.
Surrender your life to Him, praise and glorify His name. That's the best way that we can do to
thank Him for everything that he has done for us. God is our savior, our redeemer, our king. For
I know that with Him I will never be alone, I will never be sad, and I will always be loved for
God alone is enough. Be grateful always, for God will never leave your side. Be happy because
for Him you are worth it, you are loved. I know that I am loved because heaven is in my heart.
