MECHANICS FOR MUSIC VIDEO PARODY

1. The competitors will base the Music Video Parody on Dua Lipa’s New Rules.
2. The competitors must be bonafide EngMaSoc members.
3. Each team must have no more than 10 and not less than 5(including the staff) for this category.
4. They will be given time to shoot and prepare their videos days before the presentation.
5. The video should not be less than 3 mins. & should not exceed the maximum time, 5 mins,
including the credits.
6. The competitors are allowed to do lip synchronization but are not allowed to revise the lyrics
into other languages.
7. They must submit their videos to their respective presidents 3 days before the presentation, and
the presidents in return, must post the videos on facebook. The team who’ll gain most of the
thumbs up will gain extra points.
8. The videos must not contain any vulgar actions. Points will be deducted to the team who’ll fail
to obey such.
