Description on calculation of financial implications

Due to improper disposal of lab waste the cause infection among the staff are to the company are
very worst in term of health, production or processing of the laboratory are affected also. For more
detail as bellow

 Laboratory performance or output are drop

 No enough manpower to work due to medical leave

 Had to call people for over time

 Cost of cleaning the lab from bio waste

To resolve and correct a problem, me as a member of the safety committee and my team have
proposed and wish to implement the following biosafety enhancement programs (Hierarchy of
Controls) as an example

 A few Physical changes done to work stations, equipment, materials, production facilities,
or any other relevant aspect of the work environment that reduce or prevent exposure to
hazards

 Upgrade the policies, standards and guidelines used to control risks and provide training or
refreshment training

 Processes and activities that have been shown in practice to be effective in reducing risks
(sop) standard operating procedure

 Upgrading Devices worn by the worker to protect against hazards in the laboratory
