Describing my city
I live in the city of Guayaquil. It is located in
the province of Guayas. It is a very populated
city so there are quite a few people who
mobilize to their jobs. There is a large
number of traffic lights and signs on the
street to avoid traffic accidents. The job
opportunity is very competitive because

The cost of living depends on the location where you prefer to live. In the city center
things are more expensive while in the north of the city it is less expensive. An example
would be when you want to rent an apartment. The climate is very hot especially if it is
in the winter season that goes from December to April. The people are very sociable,
funny, their favorite dish is encebollado and guatita. The means of transportation that
Guayaquil residents use is the public bus, the metrovia and taxis.
A place visited by Guayaquil
residents is the Parque Samanes.
It is a very ecological place
because it contains a large part of
plants and trees, which allows
one to connect with nature. It also

contains a place to entertain with
friends, fun for children and
sports. Another place of entertainment is the Malecon Simon Bolivar since there are
many attractive things like fountains, bars, shopping center, gardens and children's play
areas. The most striking streets of this city are Quito avenue and that of October 9. The
street lights are diverse because there is a greater circulation of vehicles and pedestrians.
On the 9th of October street you can find lighthouses and a bench in some parts. Trash
cans can be found at every crosswalk especially if it is in the city center or on a pedestrian
bridge.
