Re: Help to reconstruction of Sarawsati Higher Secondary School,

Dhuwakot, Dhading District, Nepal

Dear Sir/Madam
We Community Development Centre, United Kingdom (CODEC-UK) family would
like to express deep sympathy and pray for eternal rest and peace for the people
of Nepal who lost their lives in recent devastating earthquake and also would like
to express our deep sympathy for their family members as well as to those who
are affected. We would also wish for the quick recovery of those who injured. This
natural calamity has caused so much damage to their lives and not to mention
their properties.

In this event of natural disaster we the Nepalese residing in the UK are with the
deep feeling to do something for our motherland decided to contribute for the re-
construction of Saraswati Higher Secondary School based in Dhuwakot VDC of
Dhading district, which is among almost 8000 schools destroyed in Nepal. We
have received the request to support for the re-construction of this school from the
concerned community members together with the report of destructions caused
which was attached with some photos of complete destruction of this school. In
the event of this hard time CODEC-UK has raised fund from its member and other
Nepalese community members who responded by contributing some funds from
their hardly earned income to send to Nepal in order to provide support for
reconstruction and re-development of this school building.

For the new building construction of this school in coordination with the School
Management Committee, Nepal Government, concerned authorities, technical
team and as per the wish of the local community CODEC-UK has decided and
arranged to support Nepalese Rupees 1,000,000.00 (One million rupees only).

In order to deposit this fund directly to the bank account of Shree Saraswoti
Higher Secondary School a/c number 103000002401, Rastriya Banijya Bank,
Dhading, CODEC-UK Executive Committee Meeting held on Sunday, 14 th June,
2015 has decided to nominate its Executive Committee Vice Chairperson Mr.
Dhan Tamang, Executive Committee Member Mr. Ram Prasad Adhikari and
member Mr Binod Neupane to represent CODEC-UK to handover the fund. So,
we kindly request Ministry of Education and concerned authorities to support our
representatives Mr. Tamang, Mr. Adhikari and Mr. Neupane for fund handover
programme to be organised in the school venue.
