Department of Mechanical Engineering
Auxiliary Exam, 21 February 2018
Course: Machine Design (UME 408/504/508) Max Marks: 100
Time: 03 Hours
D All questions are compulsory. No question/doubt/query will be answered during the examination. Use your
judgment in the case of any doubt and clearly state the assumptions made, if any.
D Rules and regulajons of University will be in full force and effect during the examination. If you are not sure about
the authenticity of your action(s), seek invigilator's permission before carrying them out. The minimum penalty for
using unfair means is ZERO score on this exam.
D Merely restating/expanding the formulae and/or restating the data in the question do not carry any weightage.
