ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

 For admission to the courses leading to a Masters degree an applicant:

1. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent
in any one of SSC and HSC or in equivalent examinations and must not have a
GPA less than 2.75 out of 5.00 or a second division or equivalent in any of the
aforementioned examinations.

2. Must have at least 55% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.0 or its
equivalent in B.Sc. Engineering in computer engineering/software
engineering/computer science or relevant field.

3. An applicant with any science or engineering discipline may also be eligible

for admission having a background of minimum one year Study in IT field.

 Eligibility For Admission
 Graduate from Science any field is preferred.

 Graduate with IT background will get preference over all other admission seeking
participants.

 Syllabus for Written Test: MCQ on Basics of ICT and English.

 Candidate will have to qualify both in Written Test and Viva Voce.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY

 Step 1: Depositing Application Processing Fee. Pay application processing fee in
the following methods:

 Cash Deposition Through Trust Bank Ltd.: Deposit Taka 700.00 (Seven
hundred) only to “MICT, FST, BUP” A/C number 0028-0210010752, Trust Bank.
Mention the trace number and deposition date in web application form. (Please ask
the person at bank counter to post/ transfer the money immediately and get your trace
number).

 Step 2: Application Submission. Submit your application through internet as

follows:

 From BUP website (www.bup.edu.bd) click on Apply Online

 Go to CURRENT OPENING, Choose MICT program then Click on Read More &
Apply Online, then click on Apply Online.

  Fill in the required information then click on Next Step.
 Get account activation link in given email address (don't forget to check your Spam
box) and click on that.

 Get login User ID and Password in a confirmation reply in given email address.

 Log on with that user id and password and fill in all fields and click on Submit
button.

 Check the following information regularly:

a) Verification Status.
b) Print Admit Card (You need to carry this printed admit card during Written Test
& Viva – Voce/ Interview.)
c) Written test/viva –voce/Interview time schedule.
d) Result of Written test/viva –voce/Interview.

* 3 Copies of attested passport size colored photographs (Name and Roll Number written at
the back)

* All academic certificates and marks Sheets (in original and photocopied)

* Ward Certificate (Children of Freedom Fighter, Military Personnel, Tribal and Sitting
Members of BUP Governing Bodies) if any.
