V Course Description:

The course covers both quantitative and qualitative field methods. It includes the
design and administration of surveys, interviews, and focus group discussion. Learners
will also be oriented on the use of secondary data and observations.

VI General Objectives

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:

1. Understand the nature and overview of field methods in Psychology;

2. Gain familiarity with the main types of psychological research;

3. Gain familiarity with common research designs and data collection methods;

4. Acquire knowledge in ethical standards and code of conduct in research; and

4. Conduct researches employing quantitative research design, and qualitative


research design

Prelim Grade + Midterm Grade + Final Grade = General Average

Passing Grade is 83.
