Particular danger areas during handling

2.1 Intending usage

The travel drive FAT 325P129 is intended for mounting as drive component.
The product may only be used for the prescribed, technically construed purpose. The product may
not be operated with outputs, torques, speeds or external forces which exceed the structural design
(see technical data, as well as the data represented on the installation drawing). Installation and
start-up may only be carried out by, qualified, specialist personnel.

2.2 Maintenance safety instructions

Maintenance tasks may only be carried out by, qualified, specialist personnel.
Maintenance intervals must be maintained.
Utilisation of one of the work-related workshop tools is absolutely necessary for carrying out the
maintenance measures.
Tasks on the electrical equipment of the machine may only be carried out by an electrical specialist
or by persons who have received instructions and are working under the supervision of an electrical
specialist, in accordance with the electro-technical regulations.
The drive components, and in particular the threaded unions and filler holes, must be cleaned of oil,
fuels, contamination and care products before commencing any maintenance tasks. Aggressive
cleaning agents are absolutely not to be used. Use fibre-free cleaning cloths.
Used oils must be collected in a suitable container and disposed of in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
When taking samples for oil analyses, the drained oil must be collected in a clean container, and
carefully stirred before taking a sample.

2.3 Particular danger areas during handling

Safe handling can be guaranteed by using the lifting lugs, or lifting pegs or threaded bores. Otherwise,
the components must be properly secured with a suitable lifting gear. Lifting lugs and similar devices
fitted to the drive components are designed only to take the weight of the drive component. They may
not be used for lifting accessories, etc. Use only suitable and technically-sound lifting gear, as well
as load carrying equipment (e. g. ropes, eye bolts, etc.) featuring sufficient lifting capacity. See weight
specifications in the technical data or on the installation drawing.

WARNING
Risk of crushing and danger from falling loads.
COB//000/00/06.14/en

u Do not stand or work beneath suspended loads!

u Observe the weight specifications (see installation drawing)!
u Only carry out handling tasks using suitable lifting gear.
