To regain the consumer confidence in this New Normal phase, we have to make customer aware
the fact that still nobody knows when this epidemic situation will be gone forever. So we have to
live with this situation cautiously. As
We can manage the supply and demand by playing with the supply demand curve.
Level Capacity: Since the situation is not favorable marketers can use limited resource to
minimize the cost and supply as per the demand.
Extend or cut hour of service: Marketer can use part time labor to maintain the demand and
supply and cost.
Reduce and increase demand: If the supply is less, we can increase/decrease the price so that
demand may stable. We can do demarketing to stable the demand and supply.

To cope up with this epidemic situation I can suggest some appropriate queuing strategy for
service outlet.
1. Single line, single servers, and sequential stages: This strategy will help to serve
customer with less contact.
2. Single or multiple servers: Marketers may use single or multiple service booth.
3. One customer at a time not more.
The remains queuing strategies which we learn in Service Marketing are not suitable for this
epidemic situation.
