Work Field
* Misr Chemical Industries Company
1. 66 KV High voltage substation
 Operate and maintain high voltage substation with four main feeders.
 Make electric manipulative between four feeders.
 Make a complete maintenance for oil circuit breaker.
 Work in its protection system and determinate the fault location at the control
system.
 Work on the common electric circuits between high voltage substation and the
circuits of run factories of the DCS system.
 Make maintenance for the paper-insulated lead covered cable which supplies the
high voltage substation.
  Work on the common circuits between the protection of H.V cable and the
protection of the oil circuit breaker.
 Make a regular maintenance for DC charger and its batteries of H.V substation

2. 33 KV medium voltage substation

 Operate and maintain medium voltage substation.
 Make a complete maintenance for SF6 circuit breaker.
 Work in its protection system and determinate the fault location at the control
system.
 Work on the common circuits between the protection of M.V cable and the
protection of the SF6 circuit breaker.
 Make a regular maintenance for DC charger and its batteries of M.V substation

3. Two low voltage Motor Control center

 Make a regular maintenance for the low voltage switch gear.
 Review and maintenance the electrical circuits for motors which divided into:
1. Fixed speed motors work with different method:
a. Direct on line from 0.25to 30Kw.
b. Star/Delta from 37 to 250 Kw.
2. Variable speed motors work with variable frequency converters from 1.5 to 90
Kw.
 Design of some electrical circuits with computer program.
 Make a regular maintenance for the capacitor bank, its contactor and power factor
controller for the power factor correction panels for each power transformer.
 Work with SIMATIC S5 PLC system which controls all motors of our factory.
 Make a regular maintenance for lighting panels.

4. 3*11.56 MVA parallel three winding rectifier transformers

 Work with SIMATIC S5 PLC system to control rectifier transformers system.
 Work with Simdyne control system which controls the pulse system for thyristor.
 Make tests to measure the degree of isolation of transformer oil.
 Change the silica gel at regular times which absorbs moisture.
 Make the necessary maintenance for the cooling circuit of the transformer.
 Make the necessary maintenance for the cooling circuit of the thyristor.
 Cleaning electrical insulator of the transformer at regular times.
 Review the level of Deionized water which used in the thyristor cooling system.
 Make the necessary maintenance for the pneumatic DC circuit breaker and the DC
isolator for each rectifier transformer.
 Make a regular maintenance for DC charger and its battery which supplies control
circuits and PLC system.
 Make a regular test for the protection circuit between the rectifier transformer and
the high voltage substation.
5. 4*2.4 MVA two winding Power transformers
 Change the silica gel at regular times which absorbs moisture.
 Make tests to measure the degree of isolation of transformer oil.
 Cleaning electrical insulator of the transformer at regular times.
 Make a regular test for the protection circuits of each power transformer and the
inter connection between the protection of transformer and the low voltage switch
gear of the main control center.
 Make a regular test for the protection circuit between the power transformer and
the high voltage substation.
 6. UPS systems
 Make a regular maintenance for UPS and its battery.
7. Some installation works
 Make electric connections for a new chilled water unit and connect its control
system with the SIMATIC PLC system of motor control center.
 Make electric connections for a new Air compressor and connect its control system
with the SIMATIC PLC system of motor control center.
 Install a new low voltage switch board and connect it to the low voltage main bus
bar of the power transformer in motor control center.
 Install a new shipping platform with all electrical construction for motors and
lighting system.
8. DC charger
 Make a regular maintenance for DC charger and its battery.

9. Fire fighting system

 Supervising the installation of fire fighting systems for all control rooms and
industrial units.
 Operate and make the necessary maintenance for all units of fire fighting system.
10. Diesel engine generator
 Make test without load for the diesel engine every week.
 Make a regular maintenance for diesel batteries.
 Make test for the interlock circuits between the emergency feeder and the main
supply.
 Solve any fault when any interruption happens for the main supply.
11. SIMATIC S7 PLC system
 Travel to Germany to presence SIMATIC S7 programming 1 training and Factory
Acceptance test on all loops of control of PLC.
 Overseeing the project to modernize systems of PLC from SIMATIC S5 PLC
system to SIMATIC S7 PLC system.
 Do fixtures of the new PLC system in the two main control centers and for three
rectifier transformer.
12. Lighting system
 Make the installation work for some new buildings.
 Make maintenance for the lighting panels.
 Make the installation work for lighting system and air condition for lecture Hall.
 Make the installation work for street lights.
 I have a good experience in lighting spare parts.
