Survey of Towns/Union Councils for USF OFC Program Phase-2

1. Universal Service Fund was established by Govt. of Pakistan, to provide telecommunication

services to underserved and unserved areas of Pakistan, to connect the unconnected and to bridge
the digital divide. USF plans to extend OFC to those Towns/Union Councils which are without
OFC Connectivity. Bids are invited, from well reputed Companies/Firms having valid NTN,
Sales tax registration and who are on Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR, for the survey of
following Lots.

Badin, Hyderabad, Matiari, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Tando
Lot-2 Sindh Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tharparkar, Thatta,
Sujawal and Umerkot
Lot-3 Punjab Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan
Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Kamber Shahdadkot, Shikarpur
Lot-4 Sindh
and Jaccobabad
Lot-6 Balochistan Bolan, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi and Nasirabad
Lot-7 Balochistan Killa Abdullah, Mastung, Nushki, Pishin, Quetta and Ziarat
Lot-8 Balochistan Gwadar, Kech and Panjgur
Lot-9 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chitral, Lower Dir and Upper Dir
Lot-10 Punjab Chakwal, Jehlum, Mianwali, and Attock

2. Detailed Bidding Documents can be collected from Universal Service Fund, 4 th Floor, Habib
Bank Tower, Jinnah Avenue, Islamabad, upon payment of Rs. 1000/ (non-refundable)- in the
shape of Bank Draft/Pay order in favor of ‘Universal Service Fund Company’. Cheques / Cash
will not be accepted.
3. Registered applicant must submit their bids, along with a bid security of Pak Rs. 100,000/- per
Lot, in the manner and mode prescribed in the RFP.
4. A basic set of Bidding Documents can also be downloaded from http://www.usf.org.pk free of
cost. Only registered firms will be eligible to submit their bids.
5. The bids prepared in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents, must reach
Chief Technical Officer, Universal Service Fund, 4 th Floor, HBL Tower, Jinnah Avenue,
Islamabad on or before 8th September 2020 at 03:00 p.m. and will be opened on the same day at
03:30 p.m. in the presence of bidders and/or their authorized representatives. This advertisement
