1. PRESENTACIÓN DE APRENDIZ

Good afternoon Instructors, parents and apprentices. My name is Adriana Ospina. I am an SENA apprentice
currently studying at the agricultural production technologist, being part of this great team and project.

2. DESCRIPCIÓN DE UNIDAD PRODUCTIVA, ESTADO Y HERRAMIENTAS A UTILIZAR EN ESTA

In my unit we are going to evaluate the physiological responses of 19 cocoa genotypes in the nursery
stage subjected to conditions of water deficit.

The physiological variables that we are going to evaluate are related to the photosynthetic process.

The physiological variables that we will measure will be: leaf temperature, photosynthesis (A), CO2
exchange, stomatal conductance (gs), transpiration (T) and efficient use of water (W), leaf index and
quantum efficiency of fluorescence. The data will be registered with the Photosynthesis Analyzer System
(CI-340) and Portable Laser Foliar Area Meter (CI202) equipment. With the collected data, daily curves will
be generated to relate the responses of the environmental variables with the physiological variables in 19
cocoa genotypes.

3. IDEA DE INNOVACIÓN O MEJORA.

As an innovation idea, we are going to characterize the physiological responses of three cocoa clones in the
nursery stage subjected to water deficit conditions. Therefore, we will observe which of the three clones that
will be evaluated will behave and adapt best in conditions where water is scarce, temperature is high, solar
energy is higher and the information on the clones with greater resistance to deficit is provided to the
productive sector. Water and weather conditions.
