DESCRIPTION OF
THE FARM
Julimons Nature Farm is located at Sitio Puting Bato Brgy.
Tawan-tawan, Initao Misamamis Oriental. The property spans
across a total land area of 18 hectares. Producing animals,
particularly ready to lay eggs, native chicken breeder eggs, and
chickens for distribution are the key focuses of the farm, which
works in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture Region
10 to serve the entire island of Mindanao.
PROBLEMS
ENCOUNTERED
• Lack of water due to the water pump.
• Request for stocks such as feeds cannot easily be
entertained.
• Lacks adequate housing and veterinary care facilities for the
livestock animals.
• Due to the limited signal and the location's thirty-minute
distance from the highway, proper communication is
impossible.
LESSON LEARNED
On-the-job training, often known as OJT, is a means of acquiring new job-related abilities and
skills in a working environment that is either real or very similar to a real working environment.
It is typically utilized for the purpose of learning how to operate specific pieces of apparatus or
instruments in a real-world, virtual, or instructional environment. The realization that skill alone
is not enough is among the most important and valuable things we've picked up along the way. It
is vital, but does not ensure success. In addition to this, one needs to have a strong work ethic
and be disciplined. If you put in a lot of effort and are dedicated to what you do, you will surely
be successful in business and in life.
RECOMMENDATION
• Give proper attention to the livestock animals.
• Respond with stock requests as soon as possible.
• To prevent contamination, farm employees and
visitors must practice biosafety and use protective
gear such as personal protective equipment (PPE).
