Paper Feed Unit:

Reliability improvement

Increased separation roller durability (Roller hardness is increased)

Transfer Section:

Achieve higher transferability by enlarging the diameter of the 2nd transfer roller

What’s New and Improved?

Paper Exit section:

The Driven Roller was changed to a non-separation type material in order to cool
the paper evenly which improved the 2nd side transferability.

Improvement of EEPROM exchangeability:

No physical EEPROMS are used; they are replaced with a change from integral
board to a separate board system.

A Solid State Drive (SSD) has replaced the traditional HDD, EEPROMs are
integrated in a separate board for improved serviceability.

New fusing unit:

By adapting a dual axis fuser pad system and new toner, the upper limit of paper
type for full speed feeding has expanded plain paper from 90g/m2 to 105g/m2.

New UI (user interface): The new UI has both the original style Classic mode as
well as the newly designed Basic mode

KBA00044412 How to hide the pre-installed MarketPlace Application on the Operation
Panel

The MarketPlace Application can be hidden by preforming the following steps:

1. Select Utility

2. Select Administrator Mode

3. Select Network

4. Select IWS Settings

5. Select MarketPlace Settings

6. Select Enable settings (OFF)

Note: The MarketPlace buttons will be hidden in the Basic Style Menu and The Classic Style
Menu.

KBA00043922 TX error when sending a fax

CAUSE: Fax setup as a network transmission.

SOLUTION: Change the following setting in service mode by performing the following.

1. Select Utility

2. Select Counter

3. Press Stop 00 / Stop 01

4. Press 9272 4 times

5. Select System 2

6. Select Network Fax settings

7. Select Internet Fax set to OFF

8. Turn OFF/ON main power switch

KBA00043607 HDD is unset in service mode after installing firmware version G00-3B.

CAUSE: Firmware anomaly.

SOLUTION: During setup set the HDD to installed by performing the following in Service Mode.

1. Access the Service Mode

a. Select Utility/Counter

b. Press Stop 00, Stop 01

c. Enter 9272 4 times

d. Select System 2

e. Select Storage Installed Setting / Set to install.

2. After installing the HDD it will prompt you to turn the MFP OFF/ON, when the machine is
rebooted do the following to format the HDD

a. Select Utility/Counter/

b. Press Stop 00, Stop 01/

c. Enter 9272 4 times/

d. Select State Confirmation/

e. Select Memory Storage Adjustment/

f. Go to page 2

g. Select format

KBA00043909 How to set the Display to Classic Screen

Perform the following steps:

1. Enter administrator mode (Default password is 12345678 twice)

2. Select System Settings

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the list select Def. operation mode set

4. Select classic mode. Select

5. Select OK and back out of screen

6. Turn the main power OFF/ON

KBA00043912 How to adjust the Operation Panel position?

Operation Panel Adjustment Procedure

1. Tilt the operation panel forward and remove the top cover

2. Remove the two screws shown

3. Open the lower Front cover of the machine and remove the two screws indicated below

 4. Loosen the following 5 screws.

5. After loosening all 5 screws you can move the Operation Panel up/down/left or right.
Tighten the 5 screws when done and reinstall the covers that were removed.
