Abdullah’s Granny

Sakinah is Abdullah’s little sister. She is two years old. Sakinah has beautiful eyes. Two is called Ithnayn in Arabic

Abdullah and sakinah have a grandmother. She lives in New Delhi.

New Delhi is the capital of India. New Delhi is very hot during summers.

Abdullah and Sakinah are visiting their grandmother in the month of Safar .Safar is the second month of
the Islamic calendar.

Abdullah says –Assalamalikum Warahmatullah when he meets his grandmother. Eyes is called Aynayn in Arabic

Assalamalikum warahmatullah means, may peace and blessings of Allah be on you.

We must say Assalamalikum Warahmatullah to others.

Abdullah rises early in the morning .He prays two rakahs salatul fajr. Horse is called Farasun in Arabic

Sakinah likes horses. Horse is called farsun in Arabic. She loves white horse the most.

White is called Abyad in Arabic

Sun is called Shams in Arabic

It is a hot day. The sun is bright. Grandma switches on the fan.

Fan is called Mirwaha in Arabic

‫َمْرَوهٌَة‬

Abdullah ,sakinah and grandma sits on the bed .Grandma tells them the story of the boy and the king.

The Boy was called Obaid. The boy was very brave. He was afraid of no one. He always prayed to Allah
for help.

If you too want to know the story, hurry ask mummy. Insha’Allah, she will tell you.
